Me And My Sister

Me and my sister were

     greatest of friends,

     greatest of friends,

     greatest of friends.

Me and my sister were

     greatest of friends,

     the greatest of friends

     in the townland.

Me and my sister were

     close as two waves,

     close as two waves,

     close as two waves.

Me and my sister were

     close as two waves,

     as close as two waves

     on the ocean.

Me and my sister were

      lost in the snow,

      lost in the snow,

      lost in the snow.

Me and my sister were

      lost in the snow,

      lost in the snow

      in the winter.

Me and my sister are

     now far apart,

     now far apart,

     now far apart.

Me and my sister are

     now far apart,

     now far apart

     as two prayers.
